Overview

It is not often that any cPanel Account gets hacked. If you believe that Your Account has been Compromised, You should Take the Following Steps in order to Make your Data Secure:

  1. Login to CloudMate Client Portal and Go to the My Services and select the service which you believe is compromised. Click on Change Password under Actions. Change Your Password with Alphanumeric at least of 8 Letters.
  2. Click on Login to cPanel under Actions and Go to SSH Keys option in cPanel. Delete any Existing Private or Public SSH Keys.
  3. Go to Imunify360 Antivirus option under cPanel to Detect any Malwares or Security Risks.
  4. Check cPanel Profile in cPanel to See if any Owner/Admin Email Changes has been Made. If so, Try to Revert it. If You cannot revert it, Contact Support.
  5. If Your Data has been Deleted, Kindly Create a Ticket requesting for an Account Restore. CloudMate makes weekly backups of all cPanels upto INODES 500000 Files.
  6. If You still believe that Someone is accessing your cPanel Account, Don't hesitate and quickly create a Ticket or Notify Live Chat(If Available) to Suspend Account Activity and Secure Your Account.

NOTE:

If You cannot Login to your cPanel Account, Cannot Login to your CloudMate Hosting Account or Need Assistance in any of the above Steps, You can Contact the Support through Tickets, Live Chats and support@cloudmate.in or on Contact Numbers. Hosting Support is available 24X7 for your help.
